Azure Cloud Data Architecture

Data feeds from Cloud / On-Premise are partitioned, cleansed and stored in Azure Blob storage.  Subsequently, the U-SQL module, orchestrated by the Azure Data Factory, is used for processing data feeds, loading dimensions and uploading facts & summaries in the SQL Data Warehouse. These data models are exposed through Azure’s Analytics Service and will also populate the Power BI based dashboards. A modern data warehouse loads diverse data into a data lake, does data processing and loads a relevant subset into the relational data warehouse for analysis.
